My previous car was a "totalled" Lancia Delta HF Integrale, I restored.. Lancia Delta HF Integrale: 1988, 2.0l turbocharged 185 bhp, 4wd Latest pictures below are from august 1999. Modifications done after theese were taken: Superchipped Upped turbo-boost from 0.7 bar (185 bhp) to 1.4 bar (+220 bhp ?) Pipercross air-filter (a huge one!) OMP group A, rally exhaust system Removed loads of hoses from engine and fitted some bigger ones ;) EVO windscreen-whipers (with air-spoilers) Fresh painted (as seen on pictures below) H4 head-lamps Moved battery to back of car OMP strut-brace fitted in trunk (back of car) Extra oil-based turbo-bar "clock" (up to 2.5 bar) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Engine rebuild done (winter 2001): Car still pulling like mad after 200.000 km but oil all over the engine, 80% leakage in some sylinders, turbo about broken. So after 3 years of dayly use, engine rebuild was the thing to do: New Mahle pistons New original valves reworked (more flow) by Bazza Head job to fit new valves New Turbo: Hybrid Garrett T03/04 (as used in Saab group A cars) Balanced engine internals and fresh bored block Enhanced head gasket New bearings in engine & gearbox New clutch (original) +++ ![]() ![]() THE FACTS The Integrale is quicker to 62 Mph than a Ferrari Testerossa, with the road holding and handling that beats the average Porsche 911, a level of trim and equipment that puts your standard BMW to shame and of course that unbeatable Italian styling, all at an unbelievable price. LenStreet Lancia "If Ferrari had built a sedan-car, it should be building the Integrale ... a Ferrari 348 was already on the circuit of Assen. The best time of the Ferrari in dry weather was 1.55. Later that day (it was becoming wet already), the Integrale set 1.54" January 1992, AUTOVISIE To this day, even in standard factory guise, the little factory four-wheel-drive Delta hatch is considered by the experts to be one of the world's quickest point-to-point machines. The Integrale re-wrote all the rules, and still nothing can match its outstanding acceleration and braking, phenomenal grip, and sensational handling. It's a true supercar, without question.
